- You will be accommodated in a Brazilian-style guest house, close to the beach and Congress venue.
- Meals (half-board)
- Brazilian-style buffet breakfast will be served at the hotel and vouchers for dinner at a local restaurant will be provided. You will be entitled to one complimentary soft drink or alcoholic drink with your dinner each day. At the Congress venue you will be provided with two (2) free soft drinks and one snack PER DAY during workshop hours.
Porto Seguro - The Home of Zouk-Lambada
Porto Seguro is the oldest town in Brazil. It is a place of great historical significance, as this is where the Portuguese explorers landed when they first discovered Brazil. Porto Seguro has successfully protected its heritage, preserving its pretty, ancient buildings and fighting off over-development and commercialism. Stretches of warm water and palm trees nestle beside lagoons, rivers and hundreds of kilometres of golden sand. The native Indians still have a settlement here, striking a colourful note with their traditional handicrafts and costumes.
At the same time, however, Porto Seguro is one of the top holiday destinations in the country, famous for its dancing and beach bars. It is at its best in summertime (December-March).

The Free Pass entitles you to:
- Free admission to all Congress workshops, party nights, New Year’s Eve Beach Party 2010 (with a complimentary selection of fruit), plus any party thereafter.
Note: Private classes with Congress teachers will be available at the cost of 60 Brazilian Reais per hour.
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION
- The temperature in summer ranges from 35˚ during the day to 21˚ in the evening.
- Heavy clothing is not necessary.
- Please seek advice on vaccinations needed from your local GP, due to periodic changes. The relevant vaccinations must be made at least one month before your trip.
- Electricity: Current is 220v; plugs have two round pins.
- It is advisable to bring the following supplies as they are expensive locally: Sun cream (minimum 15spf), insect repellent, plasters, pain relief, stomach and other medicine.
- Massage will be available on the Congress premises.
Foreign Exchange
There is no need to purchase Brazilian currency in your home country: Berg&Co can exchange currency for you at preferential rates.
